WELCOME TO ORIENTATION
Jackson State University® is an environment that inspires you to grow, learn, and reach beyond the ordinary. This is a “home away from home” where every student can find their place.
Before you attend orientation at JSU, students should be sure to:
1. Indicate your Intent to Enroll

2. Send immunization records to the health center. ihusnet.213638.com/healthservices
3. Apply for housing, if needed. ihusnet.213638.com/housing
4. Activate your NetID:
- Go to ihusnet.213638.com
- At the top of the webpage, click P.A.W.S.
- Click “Enter Secure Area(JSU PAWS)”
- Enter your JNumber (found on admissions letter ex:J00000000) and PIN
- Click “Activate NetID, Change NetID Password”
Note: Your NetID password must be at least 7 characters long and include a capital letter and symbol. Ex: Pa$$word
5. Access your student email
- Go to ihusnet.213638.com
- At the top of the webpage, click “Email”
- Click “Student Login”
- Type your Jnumber@students.213638.com for the Login ID.
- If this is your first time logging in, your password is your birth date (MMDDYYYY, ex: 04012016)
6. Submit your Final “Official” Transcript
Final transcripts can be submitted to transcripts@213638.com, via parchment services and eScrip-Safe.
